When learning a language good resources are irreplaceable. There are tons of them on standard topics like shopping, ecology or travel. In the English With John Extra, I want to share with you some less standard topics used in a language learning/teaching context. As you know I’m an English teacher and Latin learner, so to start a series of materials to learn English I chose a biography of Caesar. You will find here some texts and exercises to enrich your vocabulary.

There is an interesting YouTube video about Caeser on Biographics channel called Julius Caesar: A Roman Colossus. Watching the video can be a continuation on learning about the topic. The language of the video is quite advanced though.
